We are pleased to announce that the Mental Health Officers' 2013 report was published on Thursday 25th September 2014 (available here).

The publication of these statistics was delayed from August 2014 due to difficulties that some local authorities had in providing their submissions.

The general change in timescale for publication from late spring to late summer is due to the merging of the MHO Survey and the Local Authority Social Work Services (LASWS) Survey. The merger means that data on MHOs will now be collected at an individual level rather than on an aggregate basis from each authority. This is expected to improve the quality and value of the information available in the MHO report.
