Scottish Social Services Workforce Data
The SSSC is pleased to announce that its annual report on those working as Mental Health Officers in Scotland will be published at 9:30am on Tuesday 29th August 2017 on the SSSC workforce data website.
Last year’s report is available on the site here: Mental Health Officers (Scotland) Report 2015
It was intended to publish the 2016 Workforce data report on 31/8/17. However, the publication date will now be in September due to the identification of significant discrepancies between some returns received in 2015 and those received in 2016 from the same services.
We will provide an update on this issue no later than 31/8/17 and publish the workforce report as soon as possible.
We are pleased to announce the publication of the latest annual report on Scottish Vocational Qualifications provision in Scotland, produced regularly for the purposes of workforce planning. This new report is shaped by financial year as opposed to calendar year and provides SVQ provision data separately for the Adults and Children and Young People frameworks as well as the proportion of SVQ activity made up by Modern Apprenticeships (MAs) in Scotland.
The report can be downloaded here.
We are pleased to announce the publication of The Children’s Services Workforce 2015 (available here). This report looks at the workforce in children’s services in Scotland broken by sub-sector, and focuses in detail on the three sub-sectors which can be split further (day care of children, residential child care, and school care accommodation). It supplements data already published in the Scottish Social Service Sector: Report on 2015 Workforce Data.
