- MHOs in Mental Health Teams: 2005 - 2015

This constitutes all the data on the MHO workforce collected by the Scottish Government from 2005 to March 2012, and subsequently by the SSSC from December 2012 to date.

We are pleased to announce the publication of a report on Staff Retention in the Scottish Social Service Sector. This report builds on the Experimental Statistics report published by the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) on staff retention in March 2016 (available here).

We are pleased to announce the publication of a report on the Whole Time Equivalent data for the Scottish Social Service Workforce 2015. This report builds on the Experimental Statistics report published by the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) on whole time equivalents (WTEs) in March 2016 (available here).

- MHO trainees: 2008/09 – 2015/16
- MHO leavers: 2009 – 2015
- All other MHO data: 2008 – 2015
Publication of 2015 LA post type data
We are pleased to announce that the breakdown of LA post types for 2015 was published on Friday 2nd September (available here). The spreadsheets present headcount and WTE (whole time equivalent) data of all filled posts in local authority social work services where those employed do not work in a registered care service. This therefore covers staff working primarily in field social work services.
